State Representative Mike Duffey is currently serving his second term in the Ohio House of Representatives. He represents the 21st House District, which includes the communities of Dublin, Worthington, Washington Twp., Sharon Twp., Perry Twp., Riverlea and portions of Columbus.

Representative Duffey is a former twice-elected member of Worthington City Council, where he is a lifelong resident. He graduated with honors from Thomas Worthington High School in 1996. Four years later, he earned his bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Michigan.

From 2003 to 2010, Duffey was employed with Hinson Ltd Public Relations. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2003, he worked as a reporter for Hannah News Service, covering the Ohio legislature as a member of the Ohio Legislative Correspondents Association (OLCA).

While in college, Duffey interned in the Washington, D.C. office of Congressman John R. Kasich and worked for Ohio Secretary of State J. Kenneth Blackwell.

Representative Duffey and his wife, Lindsay, have two young children, Jack and Annie, and a rescued lab mix, Cocoa. They live in the Kilbourne Village neighborhood of Worthington and attend Worthington United Methodist Church. Rep. Duffey is an active member of the Dublin-Worthington Rotary. From 2003-2009, he served as a member of the Franklin County Republican Party Central Committee. Representative Duffey has also served on several local nonprofit boards and commissions.
