Dr. Kvitko interviews two Veterinary students from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine concerning Pet Dental Health and Pet Dental Care.

Originally from southern New Jersey, Jeaniene Leis is a third year veterinary student at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is currently preparing to start clinical rotations.. Jeaniene graduated from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA with a bachelors degree in animal behavior, then received her masters degree in animals and public policy from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. She worked at the Philadelphia Zoo for three years coordinating children's programs. As a future veterinarian Jeaniene would like to work in small animal medicine (cats and dogs), as well as with exotic species. She is very interested in veterinary dentistry because it is really important to an animal’s health and well-being. In her spare time, Jeaniene also enjoys horseback riding, scuba diving, running, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Amanda Darbyshire is a second year veterinary student at Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine with an interest in small animal medicine. She is from Columbus, Ohio, and graduated from Wilmington College with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Agriculture.
