Ferzan Ahmed is a native of Pakistan who came to the United States in 1985 to study engineering. He is a graduate of Kansas State University (the real Wildcats!). After graduating as an engineer he worked in New York City for a couple of years and then moved to Ohio, joining the Ohio Department of Transportation in 1992. In 2011 after 18 years in Construction and Design Management, Ferzan was appointed to the post of District Deputy Director of ODOT District Six, which takes care of all design, construction and maintenance on State and Federal roads and bridges in eight counties in Central Ohio.
