His research interests include oral health of children with special health care needs, health services research, and oral health disparity.
He is a member of a number of professional organizations including the American Dental Association, American Association for Dental Research, and the American Dental Education Association and is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor fraternity, a fellow in AAPD, and the Royal College of Surgeons of
